Consumer Protection

What is Consumer Protection?

Consumer protection is a means that national and international laws grant to those who buy a product or use a service, so that they can claim if they feel they have been misled or harmed by sellers or service providers. We offer advice to the consumer regarding the rights they have and, therefore, support in the processing of any resource or administrative and / or judicial judgment; advice for the person in charge in a procedure initiated by the consumer, and, therefore, any support in the processing of this; advice regarding product liability issues; misleading ad advice; and support in credit and financing issues.

Practice areas

  • Preparation and presentation of documents related to the answer to the PROFECO requirements.
  • Representation in administrative processes before PROFECO.
  • Mediation and conciliation before PROFECO or self-service stores.

Schedule legal advice

Legal advice is the application of abstract legal principles to the concrete facts of the client's case to advise the client on what to do next. In many countries, only a properly licensed attorney can provide legal advice.
